Language courses toward C1 level GER
The German language courses, funded by the Otto Benecke Stiftung e. V., build on the B1 level GER integration courses of the ‘Bundesamt für Migration und Flüchtlinge’ or BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) progressing within five to eight months to the C1 level required to study and work in Germany.
Higher Education applicants will additionally be offered the opportunity to take the ‘TestDaF’, ‘Telc-C1’ or ‘DSH’ exams, which can be used as evidence of the language proficiency mandatory for admission into German Higher Education institutions. Under certain circumstances, funding for particular preparatory courses may be provided.
English language courses leading towards B2 level GER
Before participation in B2 GER English language courses is possible, a pass must be attained in the C1 level German language exam and the aspired-to English language level must be mandatory for starting or continuing a degree.
Language courses are available at various educational institutions nationwide.
